I would like to make some of my characters doing the dance but I just don’t know how to do it. I know I need to draw it out but how? Do I need an animation program of some short?

Let’s say that I have script storyboards and everything ready and we just need animation for a broadcast quality half-hour show, what software could animate a whole show (Simpsons/Futurama style animation) in about a day’s time?

I’d watch cartoons anyday before I’d watch a real live tv show. Some people say that animation is the lowest form of entertaiment and I think that is absolutely insane. There are animes like dbz that are better than tv shows.

I wan’t to make an animation with one picture, which repeats in x and moves down. Just like when you move a camera down on a wall that never ends.

Like for example if I want to replay a clip from a movie or cartoon.
To create an animation you need to use different pictures of the same thing that follow a sequence in order to create motion.

Ok well Ive seen alot of kids around 12 to 14 ( Im 12 ) doing their own animation series on MS paint and I don’t know how they get it started! Do they write their own story or just make it up as they go along! I try to ask them but they don’t respond….But what are some simple steps to making my own animation series with MS paint?

I am exploring the world of computer animation as a possible career opportunity and would like to know if anyone knows of a good book that could explain more about the world of 3D animation. Various websites come up with different books, but I am only looking for a book that would best explain it. Thank you!

I am a mobile dj and I am trying to compse a or get an animation composed for me. I want some sort of “intro” to play over my projector before i start playing music.

What does animation do best? If you wanted to tell a story in an audiovisual medium, why would you choose to animate it?

I suspect that animation’s greatest strengths lie in speculative fiction. Look at some of the most influential anime series ever, like Yamato, Gundam, Macross, and Evangelion. Or look at one of the most acclaimed non-comedy American cartoons, Avatar. Any of these in live action would be prohibitively expensive, and might not work as well anyway.

I have just graduated and have a real fantasy for building my career in animation. As I’m an amateur, I really need help from someone who belongs to this field.
